Why must the shower enclosure use tempered glass?
1. High strength and resistance
The impact strength of tempered glass of the same thickness is 3 to 5 times that of ordinary glass, and the bending strength is 3 to 5 times that of ordinary glass. The national standard GB15763.2-2016 requires that 6 pieces of tempered glass are broken for the "impact resistance" of tempered glass, and no more than one piece is qualified.
2. Good thermal stability
The temperature difference that toughened glass can withstand is three times that of ordinary glass, and it can withstand temperature changes close to 300 ℃, and can adapt to the use environment of rapid temperature changes and hot and cold.
3. Strong safety performance
Ordinary glass breaks will produce sharp edges, which will cut the human body. When tempered glass is damaged by external force, the fragments will be like honeycomb-shaped obtuse-angled small particles, which are not easy to cause harm to the human body.
The national standard GB15763.2-2016 requires that the shower room impact fragments are 6-10mm thick glass, and the safe amount of broken pieces per 50*50mm area is more than 45. The more debris particles, the smaller the debris, and the less dangerous it poses to the human body.
